How was your week last week? I hope you had a great one! Well me? I got the weekend off last week (woohoo!) and I was super excited and happy! I usually don’t have any days off since I work 2 jobs, 7 days a week and having that weekend off was such a bliss for me that I got to stay in,relax, read my books and magazines, cook and wear my pajamas all day! (Pajama party time!)
Last Saturday morning, I was craving for pastries. Not just pastries like a prepacked ones at the stores but I wanted fresh out of the oven pastries. I like smell and the freshness of it (that’s what happens when it’s your time of the month and you’re craving something specific, you’ve got to find a way to have it!) but I don’t know anywhere near my place that sells fresh out of the oven pastries and I was too lazy to go out to find one so I decided to make Nutella Crescent Rolls at home. It’s what I had in the fridge and pantry. It’s simple, fast, easy and not to mention, home made! (Yes!) You only need 2 ingredients, that’s right, TWO!!!
Nutella Crescent Rolls is perfect for breakfast, snacks and/or during coffee/tea time!
Here’s what you need:
- Crescent rolls pack
- Nutella spread
preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Open the Crescent roll (as directed on the package – it usually says press at seam using a spoon until you hear a POP! then twist it open).
Unroll the dough and separate into triangles (it’s already pre-cut so it’s easy to separate).
Spread Nutella over dough and roll start from the wide part to the tip (as shown in the pictures below).
Transfer dough on to a cookie sheet (I used a parchment-foil paper over the cookie sheet for easy cleanup).
Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown.
When done, remove the crescent rolls from the oven (SAFETY FIRST! use mittens or oven gloves when holding the sheets, it’s extremely hot, please don’t burn yourself ).
Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
Voila! Bon Appetit!
