Pasta, pasta, pasta!!! I just can’t get enough of it. It seems like every time I want to cook or feel like eating something, pasta would be my first choice especially the white sauce kind of pasta. mmm mmm mmm!
So earlier today, I was in the mood to cook something for lunch at home so I thought of pasta and salmon. This recipe is simple and super easy. It only takes about 30 minutes to make this dish.
For the Garlic Salmon recipe:
- Salmon Fillets
- about 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- Garnish: Lemon wedges
Pour Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season the Salmon fillets with salt, pepper and garlic powder on both sides.
Place the season salmon fillets in the pan and cook about 3-5 minutes per side.
Garnish with lemon wedges before serving.
For the White Sauce Pasta recipe:
- Spaghetti Pasta (cooked)
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- about 1 & 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
- Salt to tastes
- about 2 teaspoons Garlic powder
- about a pinch of Ground Nutmeg
- Parmesan Cheese
Melt butter in pan over medium heat.
Add heavy cream and bring it to boil and simmer it down to low heat.
Add Salt, pepper, garlic powder and ground nutmeg (to taste). Stir occasionally.
Add cooked spaghetti pasta into the pan.
Sprinkle the pasta with Parmesan Cheese and mix lightly to add thickness and flavor before serving.
